Apple Chili Sauce

2.00 lb tomatoes
2.00 lb semisweet apples
3.00 large onions
1.00 each red pepper
1.00 lb brown sugar
2.00 cup vinegar
0.50 teaspoon ground ginger
0.50 teaspoon ground cinnamon
0.50 teaspoon ground cloves
0.50 teaspoon dry mustard
0.50 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1.00 teaspoon allspice

Chop tomatoes, apples, onions and red and green pepper very fine. Heat until mixture reaches a rolling boil. Reduce heat and add brown sugar, vinegar, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, dry mustard, nutmeg, allspice[ice and ground red pepper. Simmer, being sure it's a slow boil, for 3 hours, stirring occasionally until mixture is thick. Ladle into sterilized jars and process by water bath, 212 degrees, for 15 minutes.
