Bexar Chili


chili

2.00 lb ground meat
1.00 tablespoon oil
3.00 tablespoon chili powder
15.00 oz can tomato sauce
1.00 quart water
0.25 teaspoon salt

Brown the meat slowly in the oil. Add the tomato sauce and water, and simmer for one hour. Add the chili powder and salt and simmer for a half hour. Serve in bowls. This is based on the Bolner Family San Antonio Chili recipe.
