Beef Enchilada Casserole

2.00 lb ground beef
1.00 medium onion, chopped
1.00 lb can refried beans
1.00 teaspoon salt
0.13 teaspoon garlic powder
1.00 oil
0.33 cup taco sauce
19.00 oz can enchilada sauce
1.00 dozen
10.00 oz cheddar cheese, grated
1.00 corn tortillas
Saute beef and onions; drain. Stir in beans, salt, garlic powder, and taco sauce. Heat until bubbly. Add enchilada sauce. In a separate fry pan, pour in enough oil to about 1/4" and heat. Soften tortillas, one at a time, by quickly dipping in hot oil, turning, and draining on paper towels.
In a 3 quart casserole, make layers of tortillas and meat sauce. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes or until heated through.
