California Quiche

1.00 10 uncooked pie shell
6.00 slice bacon, crisply cooked; crumb
1.00 pkg (8 oz) jack cheese; grated
1.00 can (4 oz) ortega diced green ch
1.50 cup light cream
4.00 eggs
1.00 medium onion; quartered

Sprinkle bacon, cheese and chiles onto bottom of pie crust. Put cream, eg and onion into blender; blend for about 10 seconds (or mince onion and mix with beaten eggs and cream). Pour cream mixture into pie shell. Bake in preheated oven (350 degree) for 30-40 minutes, or until top is golden brow and quiche is set. Remove from oven and allow to set for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with hot garlic bread, crisp green salad, and don't forget the wine. Perfect for a brunch. Quiche can also be serve cold in small slices as an appetizer. Garnish with strips of Ortega Pimientos for extra flavor and color.
