Fried Red Pepper Dipping Sauce


hot, salsa, sauces

10.00 each ancho peppers, pre-soaked
0.50 cup cooking oil
1.00 medium onion, chopped
1.00 can tomato paste, 8oz.
1.00 teaspoon salt

Soak the ancho peppers in warm water until soft, then grind them into a paste. Heat the oil in a frying pan, adding the chopped onion, the ground peppers, tomato paste and salt.
