Ribs In Pepper Sauce

2.19 lb ox-ribs
17.67 oz pepper, red
2.00 large onions
5.00 tablespoon olive-oil
1.00 tablespoon sumach
1.00 teaspoon majoram
1.00 teaspoon macis
1.00 pepper, black
1.00 salt
1.06 quart water
Chop the ribs in pcs. of 5 cm, wash and let dry. Fry them slightly, add spices and water. Let cook on little heat for 1 1/2 h. Cut pepper and onions in slices, add to the ribs and let cook for another 1/2 h.
To serve with rice or potatoes.
