Kathleen's Taco Sauce

1 1/4 quart tomatoes
1/8 cup green peppers
3/16 cup hot peppers
1/2 cup onions
1/2 clove garlic
3/4 tablespoon salt [skip!- jw]
1/4 tablespoon cumin
1/4 tablespoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon red pepper
1/4 cup vinegar
Peel tomatoes, chop in food processor, then add next 4 ingredients. Put into big pot and add the rest of the ingredients. Simmer until thick. (2 hours or longer). This salsa can be very hot. My Mother-In_Law usually makes a larger batch to can. Submitted By JIM WELLER On 05-20-95 (1844)
